R.I.P. Antonio Puerta

Three days after his first collapse on the field of the Getafe vs. Sevilla match - the 22-year old Spanish winger passed away. He was due to become a father in less than 2 months. This is beyond tragic and to watch the whole thing unfold on television is unreal. I had never been so speechless and emotional during a match than when I saw Puerta go down. To watch him go off, walking sort of on his own, gave you that sense of closure that everything was okay. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

Check CHI as I am sure Ryan - our La Liga guy and a Sevilla hopeful - will comment on this and pay his condolences.

Unbelievable. Rest in peace, Antonio...
