Here is the Houston press release regarding donations to the Virginia Tech Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund. The tribute, commemoration, and fundraiser will all take place surrounding the match-up vs. the Chicago Fire on Sunday, April 29th. After the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to the aforementioned fund. $8 per ticket sold will also go to the fund. Online fundraising activities should be announced as the date gets closer. Glad to see MLS and Houston are doing this.
